The American Terran player Greg “IdrA” Fields has been crowned as the ESL Major Series Season 5 champion after vanquishing the Ukrainian player Eugin "Strelok" Oparyshev in an all-Terran final. In other news, the team-based International Cyber Cup has just reached week eight, and Gosu Gamers has presented an overview of the past and upcoming weeks. Team Liquid StarLeague continues with a lot of interesting matches in the 'Round of 16'. The South Korean Night Elf player Sung Sik "ReMinD" Kim battled to victory in the 122nd edition of the weekly ZOTAC-Cup organized by Gamesports.net. In the final he beat last week's champion: Human player Mihaylo “KaS” Hayda from Ukraine. Finally, the fourth edition of the prestigious Stars War tournament will be starting soon. With the unveiling of the European player list for the qualifiers, Gosu Gamers has provided a run down on the participants.
World of Warcraft
The groups for the World Championship Finals of the Intel Extreme Masters Season 4 have now been drawn. The Electronic Sports League also revealed their groups for the upcoming Asian Championship finals, which will take place in Taipei, Taiwan from February 5th – 9th.
