ESL has released the groups for the upcoming Season V of the Major Series. The match schedule for the World Cyber Games 2009 has been released. And finally, the signups for the 29th edition of the weekly ZOTAC-Cup is now open.

Warcraft III
WC3L, the prestigious team league, kicked off this week with some amazing games. Gosu Gamers took a closer look at the teams participating and the tournament format. South Korean orc player Kim "violet" DongHwan triumphed in this week’s ZOTAC-Cup by beating South Korean night elf player Kim "ReMinD" SungSik in the finals.

World of Warcraft
With Major League Gaming's tour stop in Anaheim, CA US right around the corner, the American-based team Evil Geniuses announced their new team roster. You can also check the full roster of all participating teams competing for glory and a nice amount of prize money. Will one of the six North American teams succeed, or will the European or Asian teams come out on top? Only time will tell. Make sure to check gotfrag.com to follow the action November 6 – 8.

World of Warcraft
At the beginning of November, the Major League Gaming (MLG) tour will be arriving in Anaheim, CA. Eight World of Warcraft Arena teams will battle for glory, prize money, and a chance to compete in the MLG World of Warcraft championship in January. The official team list for MLG Anaheim has now been published. In addition, the European online qualifications for Season Four of the Intel Extreme Masters will begin soon.

Warcraft III
The Grand Finals of the World Cyber Games 2009 will take place in mid-November, and the group drawings have now been published. South Korean orc player June "Lyn" Park was victorious in the weekly ZOTAC Cup, where he bested South Korean orc player Hyo Sub “Focus” Eom in a close final. Looking forward to Season XVI of ESL's WC3L series? The team tournament starts pretty soon, and a lot of high-class matches are scheduled on play day one.

StarCraft
The finals of the World Cyber Games 2009 are getting closer. The organizers have published the results of the group drawings, and we're looking forward to the games beginning soon. The weekly ZOTAC Cup featured some impressive games this week. In the end, German zerg player Anton “kolll” Emmerich achieved victory in the 27th week of the tournament.

Warcraft III
A very interesting article which compares Warcraft and soccer players comes from Michael "Zechs" Radford of SK Gaming. The weekly ZOTAC-Cup saw South Korean night elf player Kim "ReMinD" SungSik winning the finals over South Korean undead player Park Sueng "Space" Hyun. Also Chinese human player Huang "Th000" Xiang was crowned as the ESL's new King of the Hill champion after beating the South Korean orc player Jang "WhO" DuSeop. The group stage of the Shadow league, where old- and new-school players battle each other has started and the first results have been published. Make sure you follow it!

StarCraft
On Saturday, October 24, the grand finals of the GosuCup Season 2 will kick off, featuring some very exciting players. Also make sure to check out the current results of the WGTour Clan League, where Russia-based team RoX is currently leading with Templars of Twilight following in second position. Now let's play! The sign ups are open for ESL's Major Series Qualification Cup #4. It might be your last chance to grab a spot for this season.
