A while back, we gave you the chance to work with the Warcraft III World Editor in our last mapmaking contest. We received many incredible maps, so it seemed only fair to hold another mapmaking contest to give you another opportunity to compete with your fellow map creators. Your new mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to take any kind of professional sport (no Tetherball maps, sorry!) and turn it into a fun and exciting Warcraft III map using the Warcraft III World Editor. We'll be offering cool hardware and software prizes to the top three submissions.

Rules
- Map must reflect a Professional Sport.
- Map can be any size. All tile sets are permitted.
- Map should not be larger than seven megabytes (7MB).
- The map must contain at least one (1) scoreboard.
- Map must be created by you. Updated Blizzard or 3rd party maps will not be accepted. Any map found to be an update will be disqualified.
- Custom art, sounds, and tile sets are allowed.
- Only one submission per person. If you submit more than one map, or submit a map that breaks any qualification rules, all your submissions will be eliminated from contention.
- Map must be newly created for this contest. Any map found previously published will be disqualified.
- Blizzard reserves the right to make minor modifications to final map selections.
- Any use of copyrighted material will result in disqualification.
- All entries must be received by July 16 to be considered.

1. Eligibility.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT, INC., A DELAWARE CORPORATION ("BLIZZARD" OR "SPONSOR") IS THE SPONSOR OF THIS CONTEST. If you are under the legal age of majority in your state or country of residence (a "Minor"), one of your parents or legal guardians must submit a signed, written statement that they have read, understood and agree to these Contest rules with your entry, and that such agreement constitutes acceptance of these Contest rules on behalf of you and themselves. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Sponsor in the format designated below. Directors, officers and employees of Sponsor, its parent, and any of their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win any prizes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited. Limit one entry per household. In the event of any dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the e-mail address from which the e-mail was sent.
2. Disclaimer.
Sponsor, all participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Contest disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest.
3. Contest Period.
The Contest shall commence on June 1, 2006 and shall continue in duration until July 16, 2006 (the "Deadline"). All entries must be received by the Deadline to be eligible to win a prize.
4. Prizes.
Three (3) qualified entrants will receive one of three prize packages, as follows: The first place winning entrant will be able to choose from all three prize packages; the second place winning entrant being able to choose from the remaining two packages; and the Third Place winning entrant to receive the final remaining package. Additionally, the Map Authors will be recognized on the Battle.net website. The prize packages which the winners may choose from are as follows:
- Prize Package Number One shall consist of the following: (1) 1GB Advanced Dual Channel Kit from Centon ®, one (1) Multi-Hub™ from Nyko®, and one (1) Razer™ Diamondback™ mouse with an approximate retail value of $227.00 USD.
- Prize Package Number Two shall consist of the following: (1) Windows® XP Professional and (1) Nyko® Air-Flo® PC Controller with an approximate retail value of $265.00 USD.
- Prize Package Number 3 shall consist of the following: (1) D-Link® Gaming Router and (1) Windows® XP Home with an approximate retail value of $309.00 USD.
Odds of winning a prize depend on number of eligible entries received. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. All prizes will be awarded. Prize Winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility before they can receive their Prize. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within fifteen (15) days after delivery of notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Blizzard reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize. All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
5. How to Enter.
Each entrant shall submit one (1) map which have been designed from the World Editor in either Blizzard's "Warcraft III" or "WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne" products. The map will reflect a professionally played sport. Maps should not be larger than seven (7) megabytes (uncompressed) in disk size to be considered for judging. All tile sets are permitted. Maps must be created by you. Updated Blizzard or 3rd party maps will not be accepted. Any map found to be an update will be disqualified. No more than one (1) submission per entrant. In the event that an entrant submits more than one (1) submission, or a submission that breaks qualification rules, that entrant will be disqualified. Map must be newly created for this contest. Any map found previously published will be disqualified. Any use of copyrighted material will result in disqualification. Blizzard reserves right to make minor modifications to final map selections.

In the event that you cannot enter the Contest electronically, send a postcard with your name, age and city of residence to the following address together with either a (i) 3.5" disk; or (ii) CD-ROM disk containing the maps to:

6. Contest Rules.
Blizzard shall choose the winners from all entrants who have submitted an entry prior to the end of the Deadline. Winners shall be chosen by Blizzard at its sole discretion. The decision of Blizzard is final. Prizewinners will be notified by e-mail within fourteen (14) days thereafter. To claim a prize, winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification. Any and all maps that are submitted by the entrants to the Contest may, at Blizzard's sole discretion, be utilized by Blizzard, in whole or in part. Blizzard expressly reserves the right to utilize the entries, or not to utilize the entries, in whole or in part, in its sole and absolute discretion. All maps submitted as part of this Contest become the sole property of Blizzard.
7. Release/Blizzard Ownership of Entries.
In consideration for the right to enter the Contest, you hereby give Blizzard permission to utilize your name, biographical or occupational description, 'game handle,' picture, portrait, likeness, or any or all of them, in any advertising or promotional campaigns related to Blizzard's business as Blizzard chooses without additional compensation from Blizzard. Additionally, All entries and materials submitted to Blizzard in connection with the Contest (collectively, "Entry Materials"), along with all copyright, trademark and other proprietary rights associated therewith, become the property of Blizzard upon submission, and Entry Materials will not be returned to any entrant. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge that Blizzard will own all rights to use, modify, reproduce, publish, perform, display, distribute, make derivative works of and otherwise commercially and noncommercially exploit the Entry Materials in perpetuity and throughout the universe, in any manner or medium now existing or hereafter developed, without separate compensation to you or any other person or entity. You agree to take, at Blizzard's expense, any further action (including, without limitation, execution of affidavits and other documents) reasonably requested by Blizzard to effect, perfect or confirm Blizzard's ownership rights as set forth above in this paragraph 7.
8. Original Work of Authorship.
You hereby warrant and represent that (a) you own all rights to all Entry Materials submitted by you; and (b) all such Entry Materials are original works of authorship on your part and have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other work and do not violate, misappropriate or infringe any copyright, trademark or other proprietary right of any other person or entity.
9. Collection of Information.
The Entry Materials include a survey that requires you to enter your name, e-mail address, and state of residence. This information will only be used to contact you in the event that you are chosen to receive a prize. Blizzard will not sell, rent or otherwise transfer this information to any third party, nor will Blizzard use this information for marketing purposes without your consent. As stated above, the contest is not open to Minors under the age of thirteen (13). In the event that you are under the age of thirteen (13) years and submit Entry Materials to Blizzard, Blizzard will delete, erase or destroy any and all personally identifiable information that is obtained from the Entry Materials.
10. General Release.
By entering the Contest, you release Blizzard, participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
11. Affidavit & Release.
As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners will be required to execute and deliver to Blizzard a signed Affidavit of Eligibility, which includes an acceptance of these Official Rules and a release of liability.
12. Winners List; Rules Request.

14. Miscellaneous.
The Contest and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Blizzard, which are final and binding in all respects. Blizzard reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Contest or any entrant's participation in the Contest should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Blizzard's control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Contest or Blizzard otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Contest as planned. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Contest or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Blizzard, the Contest or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Blizzard's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Contest. Blizzard reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Contest.
