Both players choose to play Zerg in the first game of their best of three match-up. :+:Bonghit:+: defends his base against an early assault by hatching a pair of Zerglings before focusing on the creation of Hydralisks. Lovely_Waiter doesn't stop with just two, however, and begins creating Zerglings -- and lots of them. While Lovely_Waiter expands his holdings by staking a claim to an expansion node, :+:Bonghit:+: pours all of his initial resources into creating more Hydralisks. Exploring the map, Lovely_Waiter soon finds :+:Bonghit:+:'s town and readied his attack just outside of detection range. Sending in masses of ravenous Zergling, Lovely_Waiter sees a quick victory, but is as quickly disappointed when his zerglings are eviscerated by :+:Bonghit:+:'s Hydralisks. Sensing that he has the upper hand, :+:Bonghit:+: moves his Hydralisks towards Lovely_Waiter's expansion site. The defending Zerglings were no match for the range of the grooved spines of the Hydralisks and, although :+:Bonghit:+: had lost some of his assault force, a host of replacements were on the way. Once his swarm had been regrouped, :+:Bonghit:+: went in for the kill and ended the first game in victory. Victor: :+:BongHit:+:

:+:Bonghit:+: selects to command the mighty Protoss armies while Lovely_Waiter leads the Zerg into the fray. From the outset, Lovely_Waiter focuses on getting a strong economy running and is grabbing up minerals like mad, to the exclusion of immediately creating additional structures. On the other hand, :+:Bonghit:+: makes a strong play for Zealots as he builds a Pylon & then two Gateways. :+:Bonghit:+: seems content to work the resources of a single town as Lovely_Waiter begins his expansion. While scouting the map, two zealots find Lovely_Waiter's fledgling expansion. :+:Bonghit:+: quickly grabs the two Zealots he has guarding his main base and sends them in to join their brethren in eliminating the offensive Zerg Hatchery. Realizing that he cannot save the expansion, Lovely_Waiter prudently decides to surrender the unguarded base to :+:Bonghit:+:'s Zealots and instead retreats his Zerg back to his main base. After eliminating Lovely_Waiter's outpost, the Zealots regroup and head out in search of the main Zerg base. Lovely_Waiter tries building multiple sunken colonies and a group of Zerglings to defend his holdings, but it is too little too late as the Zealots -- joined by more of their warrior kin -- move in before the defenses are completed and bring honor and glory to the children of Aiur!
