cowsRus vs. [B&G]MeToO

Both players have chosen the swarming Zerg as their species for this contest. The players, trying two different approaches to achieve victory, start their way up the tech tree differently as [B&G]MeToO first builds an extractor while cowsRus elects to start with a spawning pool. [B&G]MeToO immediately upgrades to a lair, heading straight for Mutalisks. CowsRus builds two Evolution chambers and goes down the express highway to Hydralisks. CowsRus mutates an initial force of six Hydralisks with upgraded attacks and carapace and quickly finds [B&G]MeToO's expansion. The upgraded Hydras make short work of [B&G]MeToO's outpost and without the extra resources, [B&G]MeToO falls to the Hydralisk swarms of CowsRus. Victor: cowsRus

cowsRus vs. [B&G]MeToO

Both players again elect to represent the Zerg. This time, however, they both decide early to work towards Mutalisks. Although [B&G]MeToO is able to stake a claim on an expansion outpost, they both make a mad dash for Spires. The race up the tech tree is neck and neck as [B&G]MeToO decides to create a pair of Scourge and two Mutalisks. CowsRus is neck and neck with his opponent, making three Mutalisks. [B&G]MeToO uses the speedy Scourge to scout out the map. CowsRus mutates Spore Colonies for defense and continues to pump out the Mutalisks as what looks to be an all out bloodbath mounts. [B&G]MeToO appears to be preparing a huge offensive with a large force Mutalisks when he decides to eliminate cowsRus' resource stream by taking his entire force to scout the map. [B&G]MeToO finds an expansion site and wipes off clean the map. After the outpost is destroyed, [B&G]MeToO is able to walk through cowsRus' base for the win. Victor: [B&G]MeToO

Having claimed one victory apiece by commanding the Zerg, both players elect to continue on with the biological horrors in this deciding battle to see who is the true Overmind. [B&G]MeToO goes for an expansion fast and first. [B&G]MeToO upgrades to a lair and looks like he is using the Mutilisk strategy again. CowsRus makes his plans clear as he builds two Evolution Chambers and a Hydralisk Den. Although the players are reverting to their strategies from game one, anticipation rises as to whose strategy will win this time on a different map. CowsRus sends in a horde of Hydralisks to attack [B&G]MeToO's expansion. [B&G]MeToO is ready this time with a dozen zerglings to rip the incoming Hydralisks to pieces. Infuriated, CowsRus goes after the outpost again with a larger force; not knowing that [B&G]MeToO has left his main base undefended as he is coming in for an of his own. [B&G]MeToO floods the skies above CowsRus' base with Mutalisks, but is stopped dead in his tracks by well placed Spore Colonies. The tension mounts as [B&G]MeToO sends in a massive force to destroy cowsRus' expansion, and manages to decimate the defenders and their base. Stripped of the precious resources provided by the lost site, cowsRus tries to build up a suitable defense force to face the oncoming assault. [B&G]MeToO deftly morphs twelve of his Mutalisks into Guardians and goes for the kill. The lumbering monstrosities are without mercy, quickly leveling cowsRus' base and bringing victory to their master. Victor: [B&G]MeToO
