The practice, determination, and hard work of the top two World of Warcraft Arena teams and top two Warcraft III players paid off as they conquered a gauntlet of the highest-skilled players in North America to emerge victorious.

World of Warcraft

1. Fnatic Orz (warrior, warlock, druid)
2. selective queuers (warrior, warlock, druid)

Both of these warrior, warlock, druid teams were able to carve their way through the competition and finish a cut above the rest. Fnatic Orz has been widely acclaimed as the #1 3v3 team online in North America, and they came to this tournament with the intention of proving it. However, newcomers selective queuers were on hand to contest the title. In the grand finals, selective queuers was off to a fantastic start, winning two rounds in a row to give them both the momentum and the lead, but Fnatic Orz was not deterred. Knowing that their title was on the line, Fnatic Orz pulled themselves together to sweep for a three-win streak, and to ultimately finish the tournament without losing a round, duly deserving their $15,000 first-place prize. selective queuers’ runner-up finish will give them another shot at victory in the global final at BlizzCon.

At a competition filled to the brim with humans, only the best could rise to the top. Nilk, the returning champion, made it all the way to the grand finals nearly uncontested. In the grand finals however, Sonkie was determined to give Nilk a run for his money after battling his way through the lower bracket. They played two high-tension, best-of-three series that no one could look away from, but in the end Sonkie came out on top, winning both series 2-1 to claim the top prize of $5,000.
