Javelin class weapons, a shorter version of the spear, are specially weighted and extremely effective as throwing weapons. In order to throw a javelin, you must first equip it in one of your character's hands. Next, set one of your character's Action Buttons to Throw. Javelins can inflict great damage when thrown; yet they still allow your character to unleash deadly jabs upon any opponents who make the mistake of getting too close. Amazons are renowned for their skill with javelins.

The Amazon can throw Poison Javelins and Plague Javelins.

The Barbarian can throw two Javelins at once with his Double Throw skill. He can also use Throwing Mastery to increase the amount of damage and attack when throwing weapons.

Throwing Weapons cannot be socketed.

You can replenish the quantity of Throwing Weapons by repairing them at the Vendors.

Keep Javelins in your Alternate Weapon slot and use them when ranged attacks are a better and safer option than a melee attack.

Javelin speeds are listed by Class: Ama = Amazon, Asn = Assassin, B = Barbarian, D = Druid, N = Necromancer, P = Paladin, S = Sorceress.
