The Faerie Dragon is an anti-spellcaster unit.

Don't build too many Faerie Dragons. Some players go overboard and build way more than they need and don't have enough troops. Sometimes four is about all you need. In smaller games you might only need 2-3. In very large games you might even want five or six. Just don't build too many. You can experiment until you can figure out what is the ideal amount.

Causes this unit to shift out of existence whenever it takes damage. While out of existence, this creature cannot: attack, move, cast spells, be attacked, or have spells cast upon it.

Phase Shift Information
You cannot use Phase Shift when casting Mana Flare.

Phase Shift cannot dispel abilities such as Web or Ensnare.

This causes attackers to switch targets (like Taunt), and causes any projectiles en route to a Faerie Dragon to miss.

Mana Flare
Causes the Faerie Dragon to channel negative magical energies that damage nearby enemies when they cast spells. Also increases the Faerie Dragon's armor by 12.

Make sure you use this ability in the right spot. Also make sure you have enough mana by not using Phase Shift.

This ability can only hit 1 target per 0.75 seconds.

Moving the Faerie Dragon will interrupt the Mana Flare ability (same as for the Dragonhawk Rider's Cloud ability)

Mana Flare splash does not damage units that lack a mana pool (don't have mana).
